I've ordered about 10 of them and they are hit or miss when it comes to brightness. Plus these are not red at all, they say red and they look kind of red... or pink but it lights up blue. The very in intensity so if you do decide to get them get a few so you can dig through the dim ones. the quality isn't much but its what you pay for I guess. I've had them on my bike for about a month now and went through 3 of them, 2 I just changed out the batteries and they work fine, one actually flew off during an acceleration and shattered on the road. I dont really recommend them but I still like them for what they are. The batteries last very bright for about 2 hours or so then you have to change them to get that really bright light. The motion sensor works fine.
I ordered the red, green and blue versions. Turns out they are all blue. Lit by a blue led. The actual unit has red or green or blue colored plastic, so the red unit is purple and the green one is a stronger blue-green.
The product description says "red led" and "green led" so to me these are completely misrepresented.
Having said that, they seem to work and are colorful.
But, don't be confused, if you want a red or green led light, you're not getting it here.
